E2E Programme

The e2e (Entry 2 Employment) programme is for young adults from 16 to 18 years old and is made up of workshop modules. Learners can do a 'taster' course if they want to have a quick sample of all the subjects we cover. The taster course will enable the learner to identify their field of interest and where their skills lie. We offer training up to level 1 Vocational Qualification which may take as much as 22 weeks, depending on choices made and how fast the learner wishes to progress.

While learners are on the course they are entitled to £30 EMA per week.

We offer a wide range of courses:

  • PC repair and maintenance
  • Microsoft Computer Applications - Internet and email taster courses; Database - Access; DTP; Word; Excel
  • Web Design
  • Employability Skills
  • Basic Skills, Literacy and Numeracy support
  • Music Technology, Hospitality and Photography, subject to demand, to be delivered by another provider
Extra-curricular activities:
  • Events - showcase of young people's work
    At the end of the course the young people will setup and coordinate end of course shows.
  • Careers Advice and C.V. clinics
    A Connexions surgery is held fortnightly
  • Trips
    Trips are comprised of well managed outdoor and adventure activities. Trips will involve an element of travel to an environment that can meet individuals' needs for a sense of attainment and also widen their horizons and self expectation, understand risk awareness, risk assessment and risk management and the control measures that are necessary.
    Some of the trips to date have been Thorpe Park , Rock Climbing and Paintballing.
  • Life Skills Workshops
    Our life skills workshops are aimed at helping learners to improve their self esteem, increase the young person's interpersonal skills, enable the young person to develop and deepen their personal awareness of themselves and relationship with others.
